Hear what some of our Colorado patients have to say…
"I got some clarity on one subject that has been hidden in me for so long, that I was finally able to release and let go of it. This was a very calming experience but didn't happen till after I went through the journey. I was able to release a lot of emotions."
JK, NOMA PATIENT
“I recommended a friend to Noma. The other ketamine programs are very ketamine based. And yes ketamine is a part of it, but the therapy session, having that afterwards is more important. I told him if you just want to do ketamine, you can go elsewhere. But if you really want to get something out of it, then go to Noma."
MP, NOMA PATIENT
“For me personally I felt there was no way out of the hole I was in. The Noma program showed me it's possible to dig myself out”
EB, NOMA PATIENT

Is ketamine legal in Colorado for use in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?
In Colorado, ketamine is legally permitted for medical use, including in the specialized field of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
Ketamine, as part of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, should only be administered by qualified healthcare professionals in a controlled, therapeutic setting.
Noma Therapy is committed to providing this service with the utmost care, ensuring all legal and medical guidelines are strictly followed for the safety and well-being of our clients.
How long has ketamine been offered in Colorado?
Ketamine has been used medically for anesthesia and pain management since the 1960s, and its application in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy has been explored more recently, particularly for treating chronic pain.
In Colorado, the interest in and adoption of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy have grown, particularly in the last decade, as research has expanded on its potential benefits for treating various mental health conditions and symptoms, providing relief for those with depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
Are other psychedelics legal in Colorado?
In Colorado, the legal status of psychedelics has evolved, particularly with the passing of Proposition 122 in November 2022. This measure decriminalized the personal use and possession of certain natural psychedelics, including psilocybin mushrooms, for individuals over the age of 21.
As of now, the detailed regulations and guidelines for the therapeutic use of psychedelics other than ketamine are still under development, and it is not legal for a clinician to prescribe these psychedelics for medical use.
Noma Therapy does not offer any psychedelics other than ketamine as part of its program.
Can I access ketamine therapy if I live in a remote area of Colorado?
Colorado is a vast state, and it can be difficult to those in remote areas to access specialized care like high quality ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Many people have to travel hours to go to in-person ketamine infusion centers. Thankfully, at-home options like Noma’s ketamine-assisted psychotherapy program make accessing care much easier.
Care is delivered virtually, via zoom, through trained clinicians and guides.
