Prior to Noma Therapy, Dr. Auxier was President of Aware Recovery Care, an in-home addiction recovery company. Previous roles have included Chief Commercial Officer for New Directions Behavioral Health, National Director of Integrated Care for Beacon Health Options, and Director of Research for the Colorado Community Managed Care Network. She has also served as a consultant for the Health Services Resources Administration's Bureau of Primary Health Care, conducting operational site visits for over 30 Federally Qualified Health Centers in the US and Puerto Rico.

Dr. Auxier is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in integrated behavioral health. She has contributed to the evolution of the field through research, policy work, publications, and as a speaker at various forums throughout the country.

She obtained a BA in psychology from Cornell University, an MA in applied psychology from NYU and an MA and PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
